Summer Sharks

Rising Pre-K 4 - 6th $265

Make the most of your summer at JCDS Summer Camp! Our Summer Sharks camp is our recreational program. Campers will enjoy all the summer greats: daily swimming, games, gym time, field trips, special activities, and more! Everyone will have access to our on campus game room, arts & crafts area, and all that our incredible 18-acre campus has to offer. Daily lunch and a healthy snack is included for all campers. Campers will be divided into groups (cabins) by age. If you want to make the most of your summer, this program is for you!

Monster Academy

Rising Pre-K 4 - K $325

At Monster Academy, campers will engage in a variety of dynamic play activities designed to boost academic and fine motor skills through a thrilling world of monsters! Beloved characters and creatures from Children’s TV, movies, and books will be featured in each activity making learning an adventure at every turn. This program will be led by JCDS Early Learning Teacher, Kaelyn Hart.

Young Veterinarians

Rising K - 2nd $375

Do you love animals and science? Come dive into the world of caring for animals and how professional veterinarians keep our domesticated animals healthy. Campers will get to bring a favorite stuffed animal from home and learn to care for them throughout the week. This program will be led by JCDS Science Specialist, Deb Landon.

Step Up to 1st

Rising 1st $325
presented by Kate Krawiec

This Step Up specialty camp is specifically designed for rising 1st grade students. The camp will be action-packed with a research-based math and reading curriculum. This is a great opportunity to brush off those summer cobwebs and give your child an overview of math and literacy through a multi-sensory approach. JCDS Lower Elementary Team Lead, Kate Krawiec will lead this program.

Gymnastics

Rising 1st - 4th $325

Time to do some gymnastics! JCDS is excited to partner with TNT Gymnastics to offer this fun and engaging program for our campers. This camp will work on basic gymnastic techniques, games, and activities and help campers with body control including fine and gross motor skills. Come hit the mat, bars, and beam with us! This program will be led by the TNT Gymnastics staff.

Creative Sculpture

Rising 1st - 6th $375
presented by Abbey Waldman

Ready for your art to jump off the page and come to life? Come and explore the world of 3-dimensional art through a variety of mediums. Campers will explore making 3D projects with paper, clay, cardboard, recycled materials and more! This program will be led by former JCDS Art Teacher, Abbey Waldman.

Contemporary & Improv Dance

Rising 3rd - 6th $325
presented by Josie Camp

Contemporary dance camp will be a blend of combining elements of ballet, lyrical, and modern dance styles. The week will consist of fun improvisational dance challenges, choreography exploration, and dance technique development. At the end of the week we will put those skills together in a short video for family and friends. This program will be led by JCDS Dance Instructor, Josie Camp.

Make Your First Video Game

Rising 3rd - 6th $425
presented by Racheal Spears

Make your first video game in this one-of-a-kind class that gives you the keys to designing your first 2D platformer game! Conceptualization, level design, graphics, sounds, and simple coding are just some of the concepts that we’ll explore. Student projects will be available on a password-protected Black Rocket website to share with friends and family. Students will work in pairs or teams for most of the program. This program will be led by veteran JCDS Camp Staff, Racheal Spears.
